David Beckham

David Beckham is a Whippet mix approximately 14 years old, our Beckham was found in a van that was pulled over by the police for a traffic violation. When the police officer looked in the vehicle, he found 19 animals, many dead.  The police officer thankfully confiscated the animals.  He was still severely undernourished and teeth were in horrible condition.  Beckham is our “hot mess”…take your eyes off of him for a minute and you may find him trying to get in the trash, jumping up on a crate, or playing hide and seek in a storage bench! Due to being starved for so long, he can be very food sensitive and cause a riff with the other dogs. Because of that, we have to feed him his food and treats on his own.  But this guy is a lovebug and is most happy sitting on the couch and snuggling next to you.
